I must know them, I must know me and they cannot know me.

1) I must know them.

What this means is that you want to have the ability to read, feel and understand the other person.

  • I want to be able to feel and look at their body and know where there alignments are and where their alignments are off.
  • I have to be able to look and see or feel where their weight distribution is.
  • I need to be able to recognize and understand what their energy state is so I can work against. If they’re really upset and in turmoil inside but they’re trying to look calm I need to be able to recognize that so I can use it against them.

2) I must know me.

I also have to know me and be able to manipulate and change my state from one to another for what I need at any given moment.

These are all high level aspects of Tai Chi.

3) They cannot know me.

I don’t want them to know me. If they can see and understand my alignments, my weight distribution or the energetics I’m using then they can use that against me. In the lessons I showed and talked about a lot of big obvious examples but that was only so you could see and understand these concepts. In training you will start this way but then you will work on making these principles happen with less and less physical movement until they are happening inside the body without any unnecessary physical movement.

I want to be able to use their power against them and understand the force and power enough to be able to put it into them and also on the healing side to remove it.

Understanding force, power and energetics has amazing health benefits.

If I really understand force, power and energetics then I can then remove things and heal injuries even if I didn’t cause them. Now this doesn’t mean you’ll be able to make broken bones protruding through the skin magically knit back together but after getting them treated and set by a qualified physician you will be able to help them heal faster than normal.

This highly refined understanding of force, power and energetics can be used with amazing results on many ailments including:

  • Arthritis
  • Asthma
  • Bone Loss
  • Heart Disease
  • Parkinson’s Disease
  • Sleep Disorders
  • and more

Tai Chi also greatly improves:

  • Balance & Stability
  • the Immune System
  • Quality of Life
  • Circulation
  • Coordination
  • Flexibility
  • and much more
